Certified Thickness Standards are used to verify the accuracy and operation of coating thickness gages and are an important component in fulfilling both ISO/QS-9000 and in-house quality control requirements.
Contracts often specify that coating thickness measurements be taken by gages whose measurement accuracy is traceable to a National Metrology Institute such as NIST or PTB.
This kit supplies several alternate power solutions
for your battery-operated PosiTector (6000, DPM,
200 & UTG). They allow the gage to operate continuously
without the need for batteries. Use the cable alone
to connect a PosiTector to your PC's built-in USB
port that acts as a continuous power source. Or connect
the cable to the included power adaptor which plugs
into any AC wall electrical outlet, 110 or 220V.
A selection of electrical plugs is included which
are capable of dealing with most country’s
outlets.
DeFelsko probes are incredibly accurate, especially
the microprobe series. But fine, precise measurements
on small parts are often affected by the operator.
Our probe fixture removes adverse operator influence
by fixturing both the probe and the part. This high
quality device is a must in any calibration lab.
Intended primarily for the straight (0 degree)
ferrous or non-ferrous microprobes, this stand
can also be used with our conventional regular
probes. It ensures that the part is brought up
to the probe perpendicular to the part’s
surface in a controlled, repeatable way.
