Non-Certified Plastic Shims

Each Set consists of five color-coded shims and is supplied in a sturdy envelope. One set is included with every PosiTector 6000, PosiTector 200 and PosiTest DFT.

They provide a quick operational check of the probe by allowing the user to perform practice measurements. They can also be used to protect the probe when measuring on tacky, rough or hot surfaces.

While DeFelsko inspects these shims to ensure they are within the nominal stated tolerance, they are not traceable to any national or international standard. Accuracy is ±0.2 mils (±5 microns).
